Another old band thing I did. I was approached by a member of the metal band King Snyder~ to come up with a character/mascot that embodied their music. This was what I had proposed.

Maxilla Field & The Meat Cart

These are old drawings from a submission to a local video game company. The idea was for a football game set in a hellish Hieronymus Bosch-like netherworld. The Meat Cart would transport the players on/off of the field, etc.

They never called back.

Here are the thumbnails for my Elmira Stagg: Convict story. It is scheduled to be included in the latest collection from the BRCS [link] tentatively entitled "Prison Planet." It's due out next year-ish, so you're really getting the jump on this. I've omitted the last sequence from the thumbs. To find out how Elmira's particularly upsetting predicament ends (or if it does in fact end), you'll just have to buy the book, you scoundrel. : )

From the exhibitions at the Buckhorn Museum & Saloon, San Antonio, TX. One of my favorite places in all of Texas.

San Antone

Last week, I took a trip to San Antonio, Texas. While I was there, I decided to be a little productive by sketching some of my surroundings. Most of this was taken from restaurants on the Riverwalk. I used a Pentel R.S.V.P. fine point pen for my method of attack.

Shinobi Bobo sketches

This is my initial rough draft for a character that my illustrious good friend Eric Patin and I have been casually working on together. We're thinking of maybe having him star in two-page serialized short comic stories. We'll see.

This was my first time ever drawing a ninja capuchin monkey. You learn something new every day.
