San Antone
Last week, I took a trip to San Antonio, Texas. While I was there, I decided to be a little productive by sketching some of my surroundings. Most of this was taken from restaurants on the Riverwalk. I used a Pentel R.S.V.P. fine point pen for my method of attack.

Shinobi Bobo sketches
This is my initial rough draft for a character that my illustrious good friend Eric Patin and I have been casually working on together. We're thinking of maybe having him star in two-page serialized short comic stories. We'll see.
This was my first time ever drawing a ninja capuchin monkey. You learn something new every day.

Durty Rat
I think he bears somewhat of a resemblance to the late great Peter Lorre (google him.) Or maybe James Cagney?

CHARGE Headshots
A few years back, I was commissioned by a couple of incredibly creative young ladies to work on character designs and a few promotional pages for their budding comic project entitled CHARGE.
These headshots are of the title's main character, Jamie, donning the mask that transforms her into the electrifying superheroine known as CHARGE.
I really enjoyed coming up with the different masks. I also found that it's a huge challenge to draw the same character's face from different angles, with different expressions AND masks, and keep it all consistent. I know I have room for improvement there, but I'm working on it.
I also plan on inking and coloring these. Just for the fun of it. : )

Mr. Bellows
I just hope I didn't go too Hellboyish on this one.
This is another rough sketch from The Great Undisclosed Project I am currently working on alongside my comrades Erik Van Buren and Dane Caro.
Without giving too much away, we are thinking about using this guy as a boss character. My line of thinking is that he'd be able to toss the main character into his fiery furnace belly, roasting him or her alive. The smoke plumes would then issue from his earstacks. Something like that.
Still, more on the way.
